I agree. Trying to fuel vehicles by biodeisel is a terrible idea, not only for the negative affects on the food industry and those who get the short end of that stick, but also environmentally. It takes ludacris amounts of fuel, water, land, etc to…

Soldiers of Conscience

If you are at all interested in what U.S. soldiers have to go through while trying to qualify for Consciencious Objector Status, I would definatly suggest watching this documetary. It is an interesting look into what the average soldier goes through, and the inner struggles they deal with, like being able to kill another human being. It was definatly an educational hour and a half for me because it gave me some new insights into what it is like to be in the army and how hard it is to get out. The…See More

I think I'll use this page to share videos, web pages, and photos that express ideas and concepts that I find interesting. They may not be the most profound or leave you in a state of shock and awe- I just want to expose new ideas, or re-release some old ones. I truly believe that for change to come about there must be a positive message somewhere in the flurry of disheartening and enraging information. Perhaps this little blog will provide some people with a laugh and a smile and a sense of good being done in the world. All I hope to do is help spread ideas that have made me stop and think, and perhaps pass that message on to another person who will feel the same way.

Enjoy!

Mr. Deity

Now here is a theology I could get behind! These videos, which are available on youtube, but also as a free subscription on iTunes (full seasons only available here), document God as he prepares for and works through the creation of the world. Michael Shermer, author of The Science of Good and Evil, says that the videos are "funny without being offensive, insightful without trying to be too deep", but still enough to spark conversation. Basically they are another look at…

IntelligenceSquared

I was directed to this website by a friend and I'm glad I was. This website is an interactive place to discuss and debate over current issues. There are videos of live debates as well as interviews. As far as I can tell the BBC runs these programs on TV, but have since expanded their audience to the World Wide Web.
