Main Stream Media and "The News”

Our class briefly investigated the main stream media following a clip we watched on msnbc (I believe) about what the broadcast termed a “crazy 9/11 truther ” that was killed outside the pentagon in a shootout. What Merit do The Olympics Have?

As the Olympics were beginning to wrap up last weekend I continued to sit on the fence (and in front of the TV) about this “Pure Competitive Event”. Colonialism...Or should I say Mass supression of beliefs, values, and rights

Colonialism as stated in the dictionary is "the control or governing influence of a nation over a dependent country, territory, or people". Conquest and expansion has suppressed civilizations for thousands of years. Has it always been this way? Or along the way did we lose the belief that as Esther Tailfeathers stated "all people are equal". It is evident that the Papal Bulls of 1452 and 1493 certainly accelerated the phenomena of “beliefs are not equal”. This was a time when European expansion…See More
